Founded by Sky & Katrena King, the Son of a Texan (S.O.T.) story begins with a couple of kids who grew up believing in the importance of caring for the things that you wear.

Sky’s grandfather, Sam, taught him how to shine shoes and iron clothes, while Katrena’s grandmother, Patricia, taught her the basics of sewing and repair. All combined, their heritage stems from cowboys and Cadillacs, a family history of military service, and a dedication to hard work and craftsmanship.

As a family-owned business, S.O.T. believes in supporting American-made businesses that draw a sense of pride from the garments and goods they create. These pieces are meant to last a long time, allowing you to wear them in instead of wearing them out.
